So, what's new with us...???
Lets see, there is talk of adding more duties to my job which would in turn mean a raise as well. YIPPIE!! Nick is working at the school too, in the gym. Not the best job in the world, but hey, its work and we all know how hard getting a job can be these days. UMMM... Nick will be preaching again soon. I am still teaching the Women's Bible study at our house. And, this really makes Nick happy: we are finally making headway to getting our truck fixed from the insurance and with the warranty work that needs to be done. We filed our taxes today, and knowing that money will be here soon is comforting... we can pay more bills :)
When i came to work this morning it was probably about 30 degrees outside and now its sunny and comfortable with sleeves... so we are all having fun trying to guess the weather, and trying to stay well as the "crud" is passed along again this school year. Nick and i haven't lost very much weight in the "family diet", but i think we are both ready to get a little more serious about that.... its time to get outside and enjoy Alaska before it starts raining again!! And next week is spring break!!! i am so absolutely excited!!! i am going to sleep in and read and just hang out! hopefully i can get out of the house and enjoy the sun a little too!
But you know, i really miss you guys... my family, my friends... even though there are some great people here its not you, there's not really any history. i was laughing last night about "chika-chika-boom-boom" and everyone around me didn't get it... and maybe only Carrie and Nicole will now, but anyways.. now i feel like i a rambling.
so, i guess id better get back to work :(.
